There is a huge tree of very old berry on the shore of the lake. A very heart touching, lovely and interesting story is popular about it. It is said that there used to be a king named Duni chand. He had seven daughters. He had made a lot of efforts to get a son but he did not get a son. Being upset with this, he refused to believe in God and banned the worship of God in his palace and became arrogant that I am the provider of food for everyone. But his youngest daughter Rajni was engrossed in devotion to God. The king tried to make her understand many times that she should accept her father as the provider of food, but Rajni said that how can you be the provider of food for everyone, God is the provider of everyone. Angered by this, King Duni chand married Rajni to a leper (saying) that I will see where your God is.Everyone was very sad and worried due to this decision of the king but due to the royal order, everyone was helpless and could not do anything. Then Rajni happily accepted it and went for a pilgrimage with her leper husband. One night she saw in her dream that crows were taking a dip in a lake and coming out as swans and she heard a voice that the crows should laugh. She told this to her husband. Then her husband said that this is the voice of Guru Nanak Dev ji. Then Rajni believed that by taking a bath in this berry lake, her husband will be fine. So she started searching for this place and then one day she found this place where the crows were becoming swans. Then her husband took a bath in this lake.
