The Himalayan mountain range is not only a symbol of beauty, but it is also home to the highest mountains in the world. Among women, Tame Watanabi of Japan was the first to climb Mount Everest in 1975 and she became the first woman to achieve this feat. And the first Indian woman climber was Bachendri Pal who got the honor of climbing the peak of Everest in the year 1984 and she became the first Indian woman to climb Everest.
